Clown Care Brings Joy and Laughter to Sick Kids

Two health care therapists from Israel paid visits to sick children at several hospitals in Chengdu on August 7 and gave them a new experience of the novel rehabilitation therapy.

Two health care therapists from Israel paid visits to sick children at several hospitals in Chengdu on August 7 and gave them a new experience of the novel rehabilitation therapy.

“We hope that Chengdu and Israel will straighten cooperation in the area of medical care in the future,” said a related official from Chengdu Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office.

The clown care has a long tradition at medical institutions in Israel, especially children’s hospitals.

An official from the Consulate General of Israel in Chengdu revealed that the two therapists, Avital Dvory and Shlomi Golan, are very famous and have rich experience in stage performance and medical care, including nursing, psychology, physiotherapy and so on.
