Chengdu Media Group signed, at the 2017 China Music Industry Development Summit, an agreement with Polish Cultural Exchange Foundation Chopin (PCEFC), on building a Chopin music museum at Chengdu's Eastern Suburb Memory Park, in 2018.
"It must be a piece of good news for all residents in Chengdu," said Mr. Zhang Wei, Secretary-General of PCEFC. At the museum, people can have a better and further understanding about the great musician's life and works, and enjoy his music at regular concerts.
Unlike any traditional biographical museum that records and tells stories through papers and souvenirs, the Chopin museum will be equipped with latest technologies like multimedia to coordinate light, sound, and people's sense of touch, and ultimately, to provide visitors with a truly great experience.
According to representatives from the Eastern Suburb Memory Park, the construction of the museum will begin in 2018, and the entire project covers a museum, a music hall, an arts training center, and an international art exchange center.
