City Launches China’s First Online Payment Platform for Cultural Consumption

China’s first online payment platform for cultural consumption, launched by the Chengdu Culture, Radio and TV, Press and Publication Bureau, got operational in Chengdu January 30.
After real-name registration via the APP titled "文创成都", people are granted subsidies for their cultural expenditures in the city. The big data collected via the APP is able to help businesses target customers more accurately and provide more suitable cultural products and services.
By now, the APP has listed nearly one hundred businesses, offering over 300 kinds of products and services, including stage performances, books, movies, cultural and creative goods, as well as tickets for museums and cultural sites.
