During the just past three-day May Day holiday, Chengdu welcomed nearly 9.84 million tourists and realized a total revenue from the travel sector of RMB13.4 billion, up 12% year on year and 17.30% respectively, according to statistics released by the Chengdu Municipal Tourism Administration.

Arab Artworks being Showed in City
As part of the 4th Arabic Arts Festival, jointly organized by the PRC's Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Sichuan Provincial Government and the League of Arab States, the Exhibition in Memory of the 10th Anniversary of “Insight of China - Workshop for Well-known Arab Artists in China” was open to the public for free at the Chengdu Museum July 17.
