Chengdu and Zapopan, Mexico, will soon set up sister city relationship, according to official sources from Chengdu Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office. The move will further promote cooperation and exchange between the two cities in trade, tourism, education and culture, etc.
Chengdu has so far established the sister city relationship with 28 cities around the world.
Civil Servants from Sister Cities Convene in Chengdu
The 2015 Summer Program for Civil Servants from Chengdu’s Sister Cities, sponsored by the Chengdu Municipal Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, was launched in Chengdu on July 20 and will run till July 29.
