The Chengdu Municipal Transport Commission signed a strategic cooperative agreement with Mobike Technology Co.Ltd on April 13.
According to the agreement, the two sides will further cooperation in data sharing and co-build a transportation big data sharing platform to improve the regulatory level of the bike sharing industry.
Hu Weiwei, founder and CEO of Beijing Mobike Technology Co., Ltd, said with the help of the technologies involving the GPS integration, communication and new-generation Internet of Things, Mobike will provide valuable data for urban programming and transportation planning.
With the data from Mobike, the two sides will also co-conduct research on urban bike travel indexes, to advocate green and low-carbon commuting.
Besides the co-development in urban green transportation, the two parties will co-establish a credit system, co-promote the local tourism and co-build more maker spaces.
