The air services between Chengdu and Tokyo were resumed on February 25, and those between the city and Cairo and Frankfurt will be resumed on February 28.

As of February 20, Chengdu had suspended 54 international (regional) non-stop air links out of 75 ones temporarily. To meet local demands for important industrial goods and materials, as well as medical supplies, the city, working together with airlines, has been maintaining the smooth operation of 9 major air cargo services since the outbreak of the COVID-19. On February 7, it resumed the passenger service between Chengdu and Singapore, the first international link after the suspension.
