Chengdu Metro’s Daily Passenger Traffic Exceeds 3M-GoChengdu

Chengdu Metro saw its daily passenger volume hit an all-time high to nearly 3.08 million December 8, making the city the seventh one with rail transit systems in China to accomplish a daily capacity of over 3 million commuters.

Up to now, Chengdu Metro has carried more than 2.2 billion passengers in total, with indices involving operation and service among the best in the country.

The daily traffic of Chengdu Metro exceeded 1 million on April 30, 2014, and 3 million on December 8, 2017.
