CDHT Comprehensive Bonded Zone Tops Domestic Counterparts in Foreign Trade Volume for 14th Straight Month

The CDHT Comprehensive Bonded Zone now is an important place for Sichuan in the export of electronic information products, and a major driver for both Sichuan and Chengdu in the foreign trade growth of electronic information industry.

The most updated statistics from Chengdu Customs show that, during the first five months of this year, the Chengdu Hi-Tech Comprehensive Bonded Zone (including the Shuangliu park), with a gross export and import volume hitting RMB157.52 billion, topped all of its Chinese counterparts for the 14^th consecutive month.

In the past 5 months, the CDHT Comprehensive Bonded Zone realized an export volume of RMB72.80 billion, up 31% year on year, and accounting for 53% of Sichuan's total. While its import volume reached RMB67.70 billion, up 27% year on year, and representing 61% of the provincial total.

After years of development, The CDHT Comprehensive Bonded Zone now is an important place for Sichuan in the export of electronic information products, and a major driver for both Sichuan and Chengdu in the foreign trade growth of electronic information industry. Up to now, such Fortune Global 500 companies as Intel, Foxconn, Texas Instruments, Dell and Molex have established business presence in the zone.
