Statistics show that in 2018, the trade volume between Chengdu and the ASEAN member countries grew remarkably.
To deepen the business exchanges and cooperation between Chengdu and ASEAN member countries, as well as show the city's openness to the outside world, the 2019 Chengdu International Business Experience Trip ASEAN Session was convened June 25-28 here in the city. The event gathered representatives from SMEs, industry associations and social institutions from ASEAN member states who exchanged ideas on Chengdu's urban development and industrial growth and how to expand the mutual trade cooperation. A signing ceremony held on June 28 witnessed the conclusion of the agreements for six cooperative projects.
"We hope very much to seize this opportunity to find appropriate investment projects and partners in Chengdu," said the chairman of the One Belt One Road South East Asian NGOs Alliance during the trip.
Statistics show that in 2018, the trade volume between Chengdu and the ASEAN member countries grew remarkably. The latter has become the second largest trading partner of Sichuan Province.
