Over 1, 400 electronic displays have been set up at the bus stops to tell people on the navigation of buses running along their lines and help people make travel decisions.

The first electronic display of bus service information in Chengdu was erected in 2006 and since than over 1, 400 such displays have been set up at the bus stops to tell people on the navigation of buses running along their lines and help them make travel decisions.
The displays cover most of the main roads within of the 3rd Ring Ring of Chengdu, including Shudu Avenue, Jiaoda Road, Yangxi Line and so on.
A set of LCD bus service information displays, which provide graphic illustrations, instead of text message, of the bus traffic, was established in Mid Jinli Road in downtown Chengdu. The new models give more vivid information and convenience for people waiting at the bus stops, compared with most displays in service.

Buses provide the most reliable and inexpensive means for public transportation and knowledge about the bus services in the city will give you an alternative option when you are unable to find a taxi on the street.
