2014 FISE World Chengdu draws large fans

The 2014 FISE (International Festival of Extreme Sports) World Chengdu, the first FISE World event held in China, made a stir in the city and attracted a large number of extreme sports fans.
The 2014 FISE (International Festival of Extreme Sports) World Chengdu concluded Oct. 26 at the American Sports Center in southern Chengdu.
It was the first time that the FISE World events held in China and the three-day event attracted 100,000 spectators, according to the statistics from the organizing committee.
“I'm surprised at the enthusiasm of local people for the matches during the event,” said an official of the organizing committee, “and it's great to have FISE games held in Chengdu. We will organize more interactive activities for spectators next year.”
The FISE was Initiated in Montpellier, France 17 years ago and is now one of the biggest extreme sports events in the world.
