Apart from over 100 Chinese fans, gochengdu.cn invited foreign fans from 10 countries including France, Russia, Nepal, Costa Rica, Montenegro, Yemen, Ethiopia and Palestine to the meeting with eight leading players of Chinese National Table Tennis Team, including Zhang Jike, Ma Long, Xu Xin, Fan Zhendong, Ding Ning, Liu Shiwen, Zhu Yuling and Chen Meng.

The passionate foreign fans all wore the same polo shirts and gathered at the hotel one hour before the meeting started.

They were excited to know that two of them would have the opportunity to play ping-pong with the world champions, and Hussein Helal from Palestine and Luka Lakovic from Montenegro became the lucky ones after a draw of lots.

"I was too nervous in front of the super stars. But I really cherished the opportunity. I need to practice table tennis hard, and I can't wait to go playing it," said Hussein, who studies stomatology at Sichuan University.

After playing with Fan Zhendong, Luka asked the world champion to sign on his racket. "I am so excited and can't keeping from shaking…such an amazing opportunity in my lifetime to play with the world champion!" Luka started to play table tennis when he was young and often played with his Chinese friends after he came to Chengdu.
