An oral health education museum next to the West China Hospital of Stomatology in Chengdu, named the West China Oral Health Education Museum (WCOHEM), was open on September 20, the National Teeth-loving Day. The public can visit the museum, the first one of its kind in China, free of charge on weekends.
The museum is housed in an old and traditionally styled building built in 1928 and offers a 4-storey space for exhibition, which is primarily aimed to imparts general knowledge of oral health, maternal and child oral health, parodontopathy and daily oral healthcare.
Visitors can take the Metro Line 1 to Huaxiba Station and walk to the site.
