The tickets of 2nd BRICS Film Festival is putting on sale both online and offline starting from June 16.
The 2017 BRICS Film Festival will open in Chengdu on June 23 and will go on till June 27. The five-day film gala will screen 30 films from the participating nations—Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa (BRICS countries).
The film will be shown at the opening ceremony is Where Has the Time Gone, co-produced by the famous directors from aforementioned BRICS countries while the closing film is Mrs. Right Guy that recommended by South Africa, the next host country of BRICS Film Festival.
The feature film consisting of five 18-minute shorts on the same theme is a joint work by Walter Salles from Brazil, Aleksey Fedorchenko from Russia, Madhur Bhandarkar from India, Jahmil X.T. Qubeka from South Africa, and Jia Zhangke from China.
During the five-day festival, the China Film Day (June 23), Brazil Film Day (June 24), Russia Film Day (June 25), India Film Day (June 26), and South Africa Film Day (June 27) will be held at the Chengdu International Financial City UA Theater. The films will be screened through "cinema + community, viewing + interaction" to attract wider public participation and create better viewing and exchanging atmosphere at five other theaters in addition to the Chengdu International Financial City UA Theater, including Palace Cinema at Sino-ocean Taikoo Li, China Film Stellar Theater, Chengdu 773IMAX Cinema at Eastern Suburb Memory, Stellar Xuefu Cinema, Stellar International Cinema at Chengdu Global Center, and Chengdu Heping Cinema.
The tickets is now putting on sale starting June 16 both at the cinemas and on online platforms including maoyan.com and weipiao.com.
