Couple's Flower Valley Planted with Love



A couple leading a tranquil life on a 80-hectare-valley planting flowers by themselves now have gained nationwide attention.
A couple in Chengdu, who have led a tranquil life on a 80-hectare-valley planting flowers by themselves, have gained nationwide attention after participating in a classics reading literature program, The Reader, on China's national television network CCTV.
"My wife (Yin Jie) had been longing for a garden of her own," the husband Zhou Xiaolin said. "I promised her I would build the most beautiful garden in China for her."
And it is his own dream to present the best scenery of his hometown Chengdu to the world.
Hearing the couple's story, the producers of the TV program invited them to read a masterpiece love letter by famous Chinese translator Zhu Shenghao for his wife Song Qingru.
