Qingyuanji Art Center
Creation by African Artists in China, a feedback exhibition of the “China-Africa Cultural Personages Exchange Program”, is held Oct. 20-28 in Qinyuanji Art Center in Sansheng Village in suburban Chengdu. More than 80 painting works by five artists from Benin, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania and South Africa, who have stayed in Chengdu for over 40 days, are on display at the exhibition.
During the days in Chengdu, the five artists from Africa visited many tourist attractions around the city, such as Jinsha Site Museum, Du Fu’s Thatched Cottage Museum, Dujiangyan Irrigation System and Qingcheng Mountains. The paintings on display show the artists’ affection to Chengdu.
