Chengdu Snack Wins Food Lovers Overseas
Food critic Brett Martin from GQ magazine (Gentlemen’s Quarterly) recently named a Chengdu snack, the Sliced Beef and Ox Tripe in Chili Sauce (夫妻肺片, Fuqi Feipian in Chinese), served by Pepper Twins, a Sichuan food restaurant in Houston, the US, as the “Appetizer of the Year” in 2017, and gave the snack a new appellation Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
