International engineering federation FIDIC (the International Federation of Consulting Engineers) has announced the winners of its Project Awards for 2022 at a glittering gala dinner event held in Geneva on September 12, 2022. Chengdu Tianfu International Airport won FIDIC Project Awards 2022. 

 

At the FIDIC conference, the jury selected 9 projects to be awarded from 28 shortlisted projects. The Chengdu New Airport Construction Project declared by China Airport Planning & Design Institute Co,. Ltd. was successfully shortlisted as one of the 28 outstanding projects worldwide and was selected as one of the nine winning projects.

 

 

It is reported that the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC), established in 1913, is an authoritative non-governmental organization in the global engineering consulting industry, setting international standards for the industry and representing the highest level of the industry. The award has also been described as the "Nobel Prize" in the field of international engineering consultancy.
