The Jing Bar at The Temple House Presents Unique Mezcal Cocktail Experience
Author: GoChengdu 2022-03-22

The Jing Bar at The Temple House is pleased to present a unique pop-up bar at the bar's outdoor area, featuring a one-of-a-kind mezcal cocktail experience in collaboration with The Mestizo from now on until the end of April. Founded by a group of craft mezcal lovers, The Mestizo imports small batch agave spirits from some of Mexico's most exciting and talented maestros.

The collaborated brand joined hands in Chengdu for the first time to bring together China-inspired flavours and premium craft spirits, taking cocktail lovers on a journey through a creative modern drinking experience to discover why mezcal has been celebrated for centuries.

The word "mezcal" itself comes from Mexicali, which means "oven-cooked agave" in Nahuatl, an Uto-Aztecan language spoken in parts of Mexico. Mezcal is made by cooking agave in earthen pits over smouldering stones and fibres before distillation, resulting in the spirit's signature complex, often smoky flavours.

A special menu of mezcal cocktails from the Jing Bar at The Temple House includes 'PAO'Loma, Smoke & Mirrors, It's A Mule? Yaode and Sal De La Vida. You can't miss the drinks if you show interest in cocktail drinks.

Chengdu, as an international megacity, always brings the food and culture from all over the world.
