"WE ARE TOGETHER", a large art complex curated for the seventh anniversary of Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li Chengdu, unveiled on June 10, 2022. Featuring the basic images: Rice field and Scaffold, the complex showcases the evolution of human civilization. The exhibition expresses optimism for a brighter future by exploring the relationship between individuals and the city, the world, nature, and the entire human society.

Artists of various cultural origins are working together in a Piece of the Rice Field, inspired by their perfect creative ideas, to reforge modular blocks into works of art of all shapes and messages, and then ingeniously fit them onto a towering scaffold, forming a seemingly ever-growing conceptualized structure or a glittering fortress full of cultural spirits.

Time: June 8 - June 27

          10:00-22:00 (Monday to Thursday)

          10:00-22:30 (Friday to Sunday)

Highlights of the art complex:

  •  Kaleidoscope by contemporary artist Liu Zhenchen

This work of artwork vividly reflects the morphology of plants in the city, including hibiscuses and bamboos, based on the natural features of plants. The artist generates the visual effect of repeating fragmenting, overlaying, and remixing in a kaleidoscope using computer imaging technology and the creative approach of recurring fractal derivation.

  • Watch The Sky by National ICH Inheritor of Bamboo-weaving Craftsmanship Zhao Sijin

The work reflects on the dynamic interaction between "I" and "the environment," demonstrating deep regard for the local culture, using the pigeons as images, and adopting a national ICH item - Daoming bamboo-weaving handicraft.

  • Rhyme by new media artists Nian Zixuan and Lin Xuanzu

  • Nature Growth by floral designer Wang Kehui
