Chengdu Culture Center Opens to the Public After Upgrading

After more than two years of trial run, Chengdu Culture Center has opened to the public in May and will provide high-quality public cultural services to a population of 10 million people in the city.

 

 

Located at No. 459, South Huiquan Road, Jinjiang District, the center, with a building area of 21,000 sq.m, sets 210 functional rooms for various types of cultural activities, including a multi-functional performance hall, an immersive experience hall, a micro-theater, an art exhibition hall, various art classrooms, live-streaming classrooms, study rooms, recording studios, art incubation spaces, etc.

 

 

In terms of functional facilities, Chengdu Culture Center extensively adopts the latest application technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality and strives to build a new model of intelligence and people-benefit. By taking advantage of these facilities, citizens will make reservations, make daily plans, and take online courses more conveniently.

 

In May, the Chengdu Culture Museum will hold various cultural activities and present the exhibition on lacquer works, the Chinese Camera Theme Exhibition, and a culture exhibition. Citizens will also have a chance to take more than 20 art live courses in 6 disciplines, offering a wonderful cultural feast for the public.
