Composed of Wide Alley, Narrow Alley and Well Alley in parallel, Wide and Narrow Alley is an ancient block noted for its profound cultural background stemming from the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Although it is a block with a strong commercial ambience, Wide and Narrow Alley also retains the typical characteristics of traditional folk houses in western Sichuan.
