Increasing international flight routes link Chengdu more closely to the world and make it more convenient for foreigners coming to Chengdu for business, work or travel.
Chengdu is the fourth aviation hub in the Chinese mainland. To date, Chengdu has an extensive airline network that covers major cities in Asia, North America, Europe and Oceania with its 169 domestic and 91 international routes. The routes shorten the distance between Chengdu and the world.
Foreigners will find it more convenient to come to Chengdu for business, work and communication. Also, it's convenient for travelers to visit Chengdu.

The Jinsha Site Museum, located in northwestern Chengdu, is a site museum and a theme museum showcasing the ancient Shu culture in the Shang and Zhou dynasties some 3,000 years ago.
Wuhouci Shrine Museum, located in southern downtown, is the most famous temple in China to memorize Zhu Geliang, Liu Bei and the other heroes of the Three Kingdoms period.
Dufu Thatched Cottage Museum, located by the Huanhuaxi River in western Chengdu, is the former residence of the great poet Du Fu in Tang dynasty. Du Fu lived there for nearly four years and wrote more than 240 poems.
Chengdu is quickening its pace to become one of China's major cities, a World Renowned Cultural City and an International Metropolis.
Chengdu International Financial Square (IFS) houses most high-end international brands and fashion consumer goods from the world and becomes a new landmark building of global fashions. Located by the historical Daci Monastery, Taikoo Li combines the traditional culture and modern fashions.
Chengdu is known as a city of culinary art, famous for its hotpot, Chuanchuan, Dandan noodles and a lot more dishes and snacks. Many of the cuisines from the world have also found home in the city.

World Routes 2016 to Open in Chengdu

The World Routes 2016 will take place September 24th-27th in Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province, which is the second Chinese city to host the grand event following Beijing in 2009.
