The scenic spot is about 220 kilometers from Chengdu, accessible to bus service.
Yaomeifeng (namely the youngest sister), the tallest peak among the "four sisters" and the second tallest mountain in Sichuan, is known as the "Queen of Sichuan's Mountains", standing 6, 250 meters above the sea level. The other "three sisters" are lesser in height (but all have altitudes well above 5, 000 meters) and hence are more popular aims for mountain climbers, while Yaomeifeng remains almost an insurmountable peak and very few attempts to its top were successful.
