Free Shuttle Bus Service from Metro Line 3 Exit to Panda Base May 19-21

Tourism authority of Chenghua District of Chengdu declared that free shuttle bus service was to be provided May 19-21 for tourists from the Exit A at the station of Xiongmao Avenue of Metro Line3 to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (Panda Base). Tourists will also enjoy free shuttle bus service from the Panda Base to a number of tourist spots, including Wuhou Shrine Museum, Du Fu's Thatched Cottage Museum and Jinsha Site Museum when they show tickets for admission to such spots.
Staff from the authority explained that the move, part of the programs to celebrate China Tourism Day, would provide convenience for tourists who take Metro Line 3 to visit the Panda Base, since it is a considerable five kilometers from the nearest Metro exit to the Panda Base.
