Viewers of the livestream say they are very much impressed with the unique landscape and culture of Qingcheng Mountain and the performance of the hosts.
An online travelogue live show, "This Is Chengdu" produced by GoChengdu.cn broadcast its initial episode at Qingcheng Mountain, a popular weekend escape destination for city dwellers and hotspot for both domestic and international travelers on September 4 and the show attracted over 950 thousand views across the world.

"Hello everyone, today we are presenting you this bilingual livestream travelogue by GoChengdu.cn...", at 10 am the livestream started with the opening words by two hosts from local online provider GoChengdu.cn, Nate and Carl. Nate is a Canadian citizen who was born and raised in Chengdu, while Carl is a Chengdu local now studying in the US, both fluent in Chinese and English.
Qingcheng Mountain is a well-known tourist spot in China for its stunning scenery and rich historical heritage. It is also the birthplace of Taoism, China's indigenous religion, and has been listed among UNESCO's World Heritage Sites.

Viewers of the livestream say they are very much impressed with the unique landscape and culture of Qingcheng Mountain and the performance of the hosts, who gave the audience an online experience of travelling in the mountains and a glimpse of the distinctive local features, including the sedan-chair, the temple culture and the Qingcheng School of Martial Arts. They also enjoyed a training session with Liu Suibin, head of the Qingcheng School and a very famous Kung Fu master.

The livestream received thousands of comments and likes, with many of the audience saying they are planning to make a trip to the site of the live show. The footage of the show has been processed by GoChengdu.cn for re-broadcast on the website.
The website will provide a series of live shows on various tourist attractions in and around Chengdu including the Panda Base, the Wuhou Shrine Museum and Jinli Street, Du Fu's Thatched Cottage Museum, Tai Koo Li and the Daci Monastery, the Jinsha Site Museum, as well as other tourist destinations.
