Global Naming of 'UNDP Pambassadors' & Global Search for 'UNDP Panda Envoys' Initiated in Chengdu

On January 17, 2016, the Global Naming Competition of the 'UNDP Pambassadors' & Global Search for 'UNDP Panda Envoys' initiative was launched with great fanfare in Chengdu.
The events “the Global Naming Competition of the UNDP Pambassadors”, “Global Search for the UNDP Panda Envoys” and “UNDP Panda Envoys’ Experience Activity” will be held primarily on the Internet, from January 17 to June 5. The “Experience Activity” includes “A Tour to the Giant Panda’s Hometown” and “Conservation across National Boundaries, Panda is an Art -- Global Exhibitions of Giant Panda Arts", with “conservation education” as the first part to protect the giant panda and world harmony.
Staring January 17, 2016, participants can submit their names to the website of “Global Naming of UNDP Pambassadors” & “Global Search for UNDP Panda Envoys” to name the cubs of giant panda Qing He. The lucky winner will be announced May 22, 2016 and invited to attend the closing ceremony of the “Global Naming of UNDP Pambassadors” event and the “Conservation across National Boundaries, Panda is an Art” -- Global Exhibitions of Giant Panda Arts” event in Beijing.
The “Global Search for UNDP Panda Envoys” will start on the same day, January 17, and all participants must submit a “selfie” video with giant pandas or one of the publicity boards located in the 25 participating zoos or bases in the background, and upload the video to the website (http://www.sdgpanda.org). In April 2016, 17 winners will be selected to come to China to attend the closing ceremony of “A Tour Giant Panda’s Hometown” and “Conservation across National Boundaries, Panda is an Art” -- Global Exhibitions of Giant Panda Arts" in Beijing.
