How Chengdu's“Climbing Panda” Comes Into Being

A giant panda fell into the river a few days ago was widely believed by many netizens to be the prototype of the panda sculpture installed on the top of Chengdu IFS.
A few days ago, a giant panda fell by accident into the river in Wolong Nature Reserve, Sichuan Province. Finally, it was saved by staff of a power station in the reserve.
Similar in appearance, the panda was widely believed by many netizens to be the prototype of the panda sculpture installed on the top of the Chengdu International Finance Square (Chengdu IFS).
In fact, the panda sculpture weighs 13 tons and measures 15 meters in height.Now the Chengdu IFS is growing to be a popular site for taking selfies.
