Giant Panda Nini Gives Birth to Twins

Giant panda Nini gave birth to twins in Chengdu on the morning of July 20.
A giant panda named Nini gave her second birth to twins on July 20, bringing the total number of new arrivals this year at Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding to eight.
This was Nini's second delivery after giving birth to twins in August, 2015. Both cubs and their mother are in good conditions.
About Nini
Born in August 2008, the same month the Olympic Games held in Beijing, Nini and her twin brother Yingying got their names from the Olympic slogan "Beijing huan ying ni," which means "Beijing welcomes you."
