A musical extravaganza took center stage on the day. Musicians from French, including pianist Pierre Reach, violinist Philip Bride and violist Pierre-Henri Xuereb, together with their Chinese counterpart Zheng Daxin, gave superior performances, mesmerizing all the audience.
The event, having been held for 5 straight years, was co-hosted by the Chengdu Culture, Radio and TV, Press and Publication Bureau and Pengzhou city government this year. It has become a well-known art brand in the classical music scene at home and abroad. "During the music season, various and fascinating musical activities and products are provided for the citizens and tourists," said Wu Pingli, a representative from the executive board of the event.
Follow-up activities, including theme concerts and art exchanges will be continued until the end of this month.
