Chengdu Metro Line 10 Starts Trial Operation

The first phase of the city’s first metro line linking the downtown and the Shuangliu International Airport opened to traffic September 6.
The phase stretches 10.9 kilometers with 6 stations. It takes about 12 minutes for a train, which can run at a maximum speed of 100km/h, to finish a single trip. The metro service starts at 06:00 and ends at 23:00 daily and the flag-down fare is RMB2 per trip.
Mobile payment via Wechat and Alipay, is made available for the first time on the ticket vending machines installed in all stations along the line.
