The Chengdu-Prague express rail cargo train made its maiden journey from the Chengdu International Railway Port in north Chengdu’s Qingbaijiang District September 30.
The international rail service, which follows those to Lodz, Nürnberg, Tilburg, Almaty, Minsk and Moscow, is the seventh linking the city to Central Asia and Europe.
It takes about 13 days for a train to finish a single journey, which stretches nearly 10,000 kilometers via Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland and the Czech Republic.
