The 1st Swiss Week took place November 1-5 at Hongxing Road Square, Chengdu.
The event organized by the Consulate General of Switzerland in Chengdu was meant to offer opportunities for Chengduers to have a better understanding of the exquisite craftsmanship and exciting innovation of the alpine country's products. Nearly 30 Swiss brands involving food, appliances and furnishings, etc. were showcased.
"As a pivotal city along the Belt and Road, Chengdu serves as the gateway for Swiss companies to enter the markets not only in western China, but also in the countries along the Belt and Road," said Jean Jacques de-Bardel, Swiss Ambassador to China.
