What's your plan to spend the Lantern Festival this year?
The Lantern Festival is a traditional event in China. It falls on the 15th day of the first month in the Chinese lunar calendar. The tradition of the event can be traced back to Qin Dynasty (221BC-207BC) and the event was named as the Lantern Festival by Emperor Wendi (202BC-157BC) of the Han Dynasty.

Lanterns Watching

The 2017 Chengdu International Panda Lantern Carnival puts on seven themed programs featuring the Chinese New Year, food and snacks, amusement & performances, shopping festival, fireworks display, tulip lanterns, and farming experience. Over 130 groups of large and medium-sized lanterns and festive lamps are put on show at the venue.
