Jinsha Site Museum
In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Jinsha Site Museum, an exhibition titled A Galaxy of Jades at Jinsha–Exhibition of Jade Culture during the Xia-Shang Periods is underway at the museum. It displays 250 pieces/sets of jade wares produced in the Xia (c. 2070BC–c. 1600BC) and Shang (c. 1600BC–c. 1046BC) dynasties and unearthed from 12 important archaeological sites in China, including Sanxingdui Museum and Jinsha Site Museum in Sichuan Province.
In 2001, thousands of cultural relics, including jade and gold wares and ivories, were excavated from the Jinsha Site. The museum was open on Apr. 16, 2007.
